In the life of a fitness junkie there is nothing better than experiencing the high of a body shredding, sweat depleting workout. However, to truly appreciate such a peak, a person must endure the associated valleys.
Perry Merlotti, owner of Merlotti Muscle realized the low end of the spectrum on May 20, 2010, when he underwent a procedure to repair a torn bicep tendon, an injury that would subsequently sideline him for six months.
Suddenly, the ultra-competitive guy, who took the gold at the 2007 Show Me Naturals Bodybuilding Competition in the middle-weight bracket, could not lift his school books. To Perry, you cannot truly appreciate what you have until you have been stripped of such a privilege. The rehabilitation and treatment Perry endured after the surgery was difficult, but the process of regaining his physical health paled in comparison to the mental challenge associated with the deprivation of his one true passion.
Fast forward to May 21, 2011, exactly a year and a day after the surgery, which marked the day that Perry rereleased himself to the fitness world at the WBFF Central Championship Bodybuilding Show. Soon thereafter, Perry would become the youngest competitor in history to place in the top 5 at the WBFF International Championship Competition. The performance and the obstacles preceding the show represent Perry Merlotti’s hunger for perfection, a value he wishes to pass on to others.
These obstacles and experiences serve as the catalyst for Merlotti Muscle, a company that is dedicated to changing the lives of those who are determined to pursue their fitness goals. In addition to a wealth of knowledge over all aspects of fitness, Perry is equipped with a degree in Health Wellness & Promotion, Level 1 and Level 2 Poliquin Training Certifications (PICP), and Level 1 Bio-Signature Training Certification. With these qualifications, and using Merlotti Muslce as the mouthpiece, Perry strongly believes he can help others achieve a level of health and fitness that they never thought was possible.
Currently, Perry has maintained an unrivaled level of fitness, which has opened the eyes to the elite personalities in world of bodybuilding.
Perry says his inner beast and love for competition is main inspiration, which drives him to compete. His hard work led to opportunities that were once only a dream, and he has recently been featured in countless publications.
