Jason Statham - Actor and former Diver

Jason Statham was born in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England on 12th September 1967. He is an English actor and a former diver. He originally pursued a career in diving and was a member of Britain’s National Diving Squad for twelve years. He began modeling for the clothing line French Connection and later starred in Guy Ritchie’s movies Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. He is also known for his roles in movies like The Transporter, Death Race, Crank, The Bank Job, War and more recently in The Expendables and Killer Elite.Jason has worked in more than 20 films since 1998. 

Statham has earned almost all his wealth from acting in films. His films have grossed a total of more than $1 billion at the box office. His highest grossing film is The Expendables. He made $450,000 for The Italian Job in 2003 and made a cool $750,000 for The Transporter. Jason Statham has also given voice- over to the video games Call of Duty and Red Faction II.

Jason Statham has also starred in a hit movie series- Crank. He is said to have earned around $5 million for his role in Crank. Statham knows well how to spend his hard-earned money. He has bought himself a 3,355 square-foot house in the Malibu Colony in Malibu, California on an area of land next to the sea for $10 million. While working for French Connection(FCUK), British director Guy Ritchie who took him in his film Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. After that, Jason Statham never looked back. He is currently working on The Expendables 2 along with Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone.
