William Levy was born on August 29, 1980, in Cojimar, Cuba. He left Cuba at the age of 14, moving to Miami by 15, and later became a naturalized citizen of the U.S. He currently resides between Mexico City and Miami, FL As an avid baseball fan when he was younger, he had dreams of playing major league baseball, but very soon had the opportunity to act and model, a career which has allowed him to travel to other countries to participate in runway shows and photo shoots. He studied acting in both Miami and L.A., where he moved to begin his acting career.Levy was reported to have played a role in the divorce of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, when he was her love interest in her music video "I'm Into You", from her album "Love?"
